Pancreatitis in Dog πŸ•

Hello friends,
                Today we will discuss .....


 pancreas is a vital organ that lies on the right side of the abdomen adjacent to the stomach. 
The pancreas produces enzymes to assist in food digestion and hormones such as insulin, which regulates blood sugar .
Pancreatitis:-
"An Inflammation of Pancreas is known as Pancreatitis"
Causes of Pancreatitis:-
(1) The exact cause of pancreatitis is not known
(2) May be triggered in some cases by a fatty meal or corticosteroid administration.
many cases it appears to occur spontaneously

Symptoms Of Pancreatitis:-


The most common clinical signs include    

          (1) Vomiting




           (2) Fever  




          (3)Diarrhea



 (4) Abdominal pain
 (Hunched back posture)





    Diagnosis of Pancreatitis:-

1.Laboratory tests usually an elevated WBC.

2.cPLI test (specific test of Pancreatitis)


Treatment (Rx) of Pancreatitis :-

(1)  'Resting' the pancreas and allowing the body to heal itself. 


(2) Fluid therepy (Normal saline ,RL etc.)

     (3) NSAIDs, Antibiotics

Eye Cancer in Cattle (ocular squamous cell carcinoma)

Hello Friends,          Today we will discuss about Eye Cancer in Cattle . .  The most common type of tumor or 'cancer eye' in cattle is squamous cell carcinoma.  . Its a Cancer occuring on the eye & eyelid .  Older cattle are more susceptible to cancer eye, with the disease being uncommon in cows under five years of age.
